Metro Teachers
Welcome MNPS Teachers!

LP PENCIL Box is excited to serve you and your students. This is the middle of our 4th year, and we are serving all MNPS elementary, middle and high school teachers. Please make an appointment to shop for free supplies at our store. Every teacher can shop one time each semester. We hope to see you in the spring semester.

We also would LOVE to have teachers come volunteer with us. We can always use help assisting teachers that have made appointments, as well as help organizing donations. If you can volunteer one day, please let us know and you can take 10 items home with you.  For more information, visit our volunteer page.

Shopping at LP PENCIL Box
At LPPB we know we cannot give teachers everything they need,
but we hope that every little bit will help their students!
If you have never shopped at LPPB before, the process is easy and everything is free! However, we do have to set a limit on the amount of supplies much each teacher can take. We know you have so many needs, but we set limits based on the number of donations. As our donations increase, we will give away more free supplies to teachers. We estimate that teachers take about $150 worth of supplies back to their classes everytime they shop at LPPB. We serve all 4,500 Metro teachers and want to make sure everyone gets the same opportunity. Supplies are for your classroom and your students only - not for personal use!

There is a basic school supply room at LPPB where teachers can pick 40 items including backpacks, pencils, paper, crayons, markers, books, etc. The next room is our Green Room which has donations that are gently used or just odds and ends including carpets squares, fabric samples, binders, magazines, containers, etc. Teachers can pick 40 more items in the Green Room. In each room, we place individuals limits on each item.
