LP PENCIL Box

LP PENCIL Box would like to thank our donors and volunteers for an incredible year! Thanks to your support, we were able to distribute $300,000 worth of supplies to Metro students who need them most.

Believe it or not, the first day of school will be here before you know it - August 11. We are gearing up for another year of teacher shopping and are beginning to stock the store.

What is LP PENCIL Box?

LP PENCIL Box, a free school supply store for educators, provides learning materials for impoverished students in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. Educational & art supplies are solicited from businesses, organizations and individuals for distribution throughout the year.

A major partnership between the Nashville business community and the city's public schools, LP PENCIL Box encourages organizations and individuals to donate both new school supplies, surplus office supplies, and to recycle some possible art supplies to the store currently located in McCann ALC at 1300 56th Ave. North. LP PENCIL Box is a collaboration with the LP Foundation, the charitable arm of LP Building Products, which provides a matching grant to encourage other businesses, organizations and individuals to support the program.
